*Job Description:*

Jim Mitchell & Jed Davis, P.A., a respected and busy general practice law firm in Augusta, seeks an on-site Consulting Attorney to support civil litigation, criminal matters, and real estate work. This role requires consistent in-office presence and close collaboration with our attorneys.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery documents
* Conduct legal research and case evaluation
* Assist with hearings and, if qualified, appear in court
* Maintain organized case progression and deadlines
* Communicate with clients, counsel, and internal team

*Qualifications*

* Active Maine Bar license in good standing (required)
* Strong legal writing and analytical skills
* Courtroom experience strongly preferred
* Ability to manage workload independently
* Professional communication and responsiveness

*Schedule*

* Minimum 20 hours per week on-site
* Immediate start available

*Compensation*

* $60 – $95 per hour, depending on experience
* Growth opportunities as responsibilities expand
