Job Summary The Corporate Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Liberty Tire Recycling’s brand identity and messaging across internal and external audiences. This role requires a “doer” with strategic vision who can collaborate across departments to develop and execute communication strategies that engage internal and external stakeholders—ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and vision. A passion for working with a sustainability-focused company is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support marketing activities aimed at driving reputational and business growth
  • Develop and manage an internal communication strategy that fosters employee engagement and aligns with company initiatives, goals, and values
  • Establish and maintain internal communication channels and platforms to ensure effective messaging across the organization
  • Partner with company leaders to create and distribute content such as articles, social media posts, videos, and other materials
  • Support Liberty workgroups in their external communication efforts, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and enhancing stakeholder engagement

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans
  • Cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Experience creating content for internal and external audiences
  • Ability to update and manage content on the corporate website
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media strategy
  • Proven ability to manage paid marketing campaigns
  • Experience developing and executing email marketing campaigns
  • Ability to support earned media efforts, including press outreach and coverage
  • Experience supporting awards submissions and conference participation
  • Basic design skills using tools such as Canva

Education and Experience

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or another related field or a combination of education and experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or a related discipline
  • Experience developing and executing communication and brand strategies
  • Passion for working with a sustainability-focused company is a plus
