ETL Application Developer Location Hybrid work in Arlington, VA : ASRC Federal is seeking a seasoned ETL Developer to join our team to support a DEA contract in Arlington, VA.
Work arrangement: Hybrid/Onsite Clearance: Public Trust (must be a US Citizen) Responsibilities: - Shall formulate and define system scope and objectives.
- Shall devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Shall prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and shall 81 design, code, test, debug, and document those programs.
- Shall be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Requirements: - Strong understanding of the Data warehousing techniques and star/snowflake models.
- Must have experience in DataStage Director and job designs:
- Experience in DataStage parallel and sequential job scheduling for multiple jobs.
- Experience in DataStage job scheduling process with Autosys and DataStage scheduler.
- Experience in DataStage error resolutions.
- Experience using Parallel processing Infrastructure using DataStage.
- Experience in developing Data stage jobs for extract and transformation to load to data warehouse.
- Experience with Join, Lookup, Merge stages.
- Experience using data stage functionalities like file loading and unstructured data.
- Experience with Oracle databases and building PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Triggers and packages.
- Experience in writing Unix/Linux shell scripts.
- Must be a US Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust.
- Must be able to pass a government issues background check.
Education: - BS/BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent
- At least four (4) years' experience in the field. Eight (8) years of related experience is equivalent to a BS/BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related discipline.
