About the Role
\nWe are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Wallingford, CT . In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and organize inventory. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Operate forklifts and related equipment to move and store materials.
\n\t\n\tUnload and inspect incoming materials, ensuring quality and accuracy.
\n\t\n\tStock, organize, and label materials in designated warehouse locations.
\n\t\n\tPull, stage, and assemble customer orders for delivery or shipment.
\n\t\n\tPrepare shipping documentation for UPS, LTL, and other carriers.
\n\t\n\tMaintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
\n\t\n\tFollow all safety policies and immediately report hazards or incidents.
\n\t\n\tPerform additional warehouse duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
\n\t\nHigh school diploma or GED required.
\n\t\n\tProven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
\n\t\n\tCurrent forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
\n\t\n\tBasic computer, math, and reading skills.
\n\t\n\tAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
\n\t\n\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\t\n\tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.
\n\t\nCompetitive hourly pay based on experience ($20–$23/hr).
\n\t\n\tStable, weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
