Ships Inn-Nantucket, Inc. dba Ships Inn located on Nantucket Island, MA

off the coast of Cape Cod in Nantucket County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2026-10/15/2026, 40 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days may vary. Shift required to work is: 7:15am-3:15pm and/or 9:30am-5:30pm. (5) Openings. Will train to perform a combination of cleaning duties which includes making beds, changing, and replenishing linens and towels, cleaning guests rooms and common areas, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sweeping floors, emptying trash from guest rooms, disinfecting bathrooms and cleaning toilets, maintaining and stocking all supplies including toiletries. Report any deficiencies in the rooms and common areas to the manager. No education or prior experience is required. On the job training is provided. \$19.67 p/hour or \$29.51 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28p/day during travel to a maximum of \$68 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Tuesday at 12:01 am and ending Monday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is \$145 per week and is paid directly by employee to employer monthly. Housing is optional. Bicycles are provided to the employees for use. The distance from housing to the Inn is a little more than a half a mile. Also, public transportation may be available.
