SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire a Stand-up Reach Forklift Operator for a client in Sumner, WA. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time, open to overtime when necessary and have a great attitude.
TITLE: Forklift Operator
LOCATION: Sumner, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 6am-2:30pm
PAY : $19 - $21DOE

ABOUT THE JOB:
Operating a forklift to move materials, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring workplace safety. They also involve tasks like performing routine maintenance on the forklift, documenting inventory, and communicating with other team members.
JOB DUTIES:
·Operate a Stand up Crown Reach Forklift.
·The function of this position is to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products.
·The successful candidate will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure the optimal operation of the business.
·Flexibility with working overtime is preferred during busy season
REQUIREMENTS:
·Proficiency in maneuvering the forklift, handling loads, and navigating different environments, including tight spaces.
·Adherence to safety regulations, understanding potential hazards, and operating the forklift in a safe manner.
·Performing pre-shift checks, identifying minor issues, and potentially performing basic maintenance tasks.
·Effectively communicating with other workers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and safety.
·Adjusting to different work environments, tasks, and schedules.
·Working effectively with others in a warehouse or industrial setting.
