Location: Open for Peoria, IL as well Role and Overview of the role: It is primarily a visualization developer with some critical thinking skills. It's a brand new project. There's going to be a lot of chasing of information, a lot of working with uncertainty in terms of brand new projects. Need to dig in, try to figure out all of the answers that can. So this is kind of a little bit more than a traditional. Looking for an individual who is primarily on the visualization side from an expertise standpoint but strong communication, strong critical thinking skills that really can dive in. Some data knowledge because this one is also a little bit data heavy even though there will be data partners with this role. Top Skills: Industry standard Visualization Tools: 5+ years exp Tableau Power BI experience will be acceptable (With the expectation that candidate will learn the tableau) high level visual communication skills and independence Portfolio or work samples are highly desired. Desired SQL & Snowflake is a plus Data transformation Tools: Google Analytics *i.e., developing dashboards for large companies Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to business analytics, data science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a similar field with quantitative coursework plus 5+ years exp. Master’s degree with 4+ years’ experience PhD would still need 4+ years’ experience. NO degree, candidate must have 10+ years’ experience Typical task breakdown: - Development of new visualizations, Maintenance of existing dashboards etc., Validation of access, working with and communicating with project leads. Candidate will be expected to be on-site. Interaction with team: - 14+ people in the team. 1/3 in Chicago and 1/3 in Peoria and 1/3 Irving/Dallas. Work environment: Candidates could sit in either Chicago, IL, Peoria and Irving/Dallas, but must be able to go into the office 5x a week . Technical Skills: (Required) - Required: Industry standard Visualization Tools: 5+ years exp Tableau(required), Power BI (preferred) *high level visual communication skills and independence (Desired) - Desired: Data transformation Tools: SQL language, Snowflake, Salesforce, Google Analytics *ie developing dashboards for large companies Soft Skills: (Required) - Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
