Temporary Part-time Enrollment Recruiter 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Title: Temporary Part‑time Enrollment Recruiter Job Grade: TH $15.00 per hour Institution: Walters State Community College Campus Location: Morristown Campus (Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.) Job Purpose: Reporting to the Lead Enrollment Development Director and Territory Manager, the Enrollment Recruiter is responsible for fulfilling the college’s recruitment requests at events in the college’s service area. The Enrollment Recruiter attends recruitment events, provides campus tours (Morristown Campus), and meets with prospective students and their families daily to provide them with knowledge on the admission process, financial aid steps and general program information. Essential Job Functions Provide daily campus tours and enrollment information sessions with prospective/admitted students and their families on the Morristown Campus; actively participate in high school counselor outreach and communications in the recruitment territory; provide event coverage such as college fairs, career fairs, signing days and award programs; provide enrollment presentations on site and within the service area for recruitment purposes; visit middle schools, high schools, businesses, and community partners to promote the college. Assist with prospective student data entry and coordination of data entry efforts related to enrollment development in the CRM; assist with prospective and admitted student communications via text, phone, and email; support the Senators Central team on a daily basis; inform and instruct students in financial aid, admissions, student account, student records, and other general enrollment information via phone, email, in-person, virtually, etc.; attend and assist in planning for orientation and yield‑related student/family events. May perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and faculty. Demonstrated ability to maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with internal and external colleagues and constituents. Demonstrated knowledge of the college’s programs of study and offerings. Demonstrated ability for critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability with Office 365, Banner (or other data management systems), and other technology platforms. Demonstrated ability to deliver professional oral presentations. Must have a valid driver’s license. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a higher‑education setting in the role of recruitment/admissions. Environment & Working Conditions Duties are performed in a typical office environment that is clean, well lit, quiet, and temperature controlled. Special events could require travel or working in an outside environment. Physical Demands (including Requirements for Travel or Working Nights/Weekends/Holidays) Requires evening and early morning working hours; some weekend working hours. Requires travel to college fairs, recruitment events, conferences, and other campuses for orientations, etc. Requires ongoing verbal communication via telephone and in person. Requires mobility needed to travel to other campuses to work with students. Special events may require travel and working outside the normal scheduled work day. Requires mobility to provide walking campus tours to individuals and/or large groups of students. Requires ability to lift 20 lbs or less.
