Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health and Hospice position in Alaska requiring a minimum of three years of relevant experience and an active AK RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work primarily in home health settings with occasional floating to hospice care
• Patient population includes home health and hospice patients
• Day shifts with 8-hour durations
• Position requires being on-call
• Mileage will be reimbursed at the government rate
• Provide nursing care primarily in patients' homes and occasionally in hospice settings
• Must be able to travel to patient homes as part of daily duties

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active Alaska RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred
• Minimum three years of recent experience in a comparable patient care setting
• Hospice experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation required
