Location : 1001 E Pennsylvania Ave, Ottumwa, IA 52501

Assignment Details - Role : Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health Unit (BHU)
- Shift : 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 hours/week
- Contract Length : 91 days (13 weeks)
- Weekend Hours : Yes
- Call Requirements : None
- Start Days : Monday or Tuesday allowed
- Travel Experience Required : Yes – will reject candidates without it
- Floating : May be required to float within a 25-mile radius

- Number of Beds : 14
- Average Daily Census (ADC) : ~7
- Patient Ratio : 1 RN : 6 patients
- Common Diagnoses :
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Bipolar/Manic Disorders
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Suicidal Ideation
- EHR System : MediTech
- Supervisor : Regina Sedore

Requirements - Iowa SING Background Check (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Must include both criminal and child abuse portions
- No instant or statewide searches accepted
- All background checks (county + state) must clear before start
- Mandatory Reporter Certification : Child & Adult required
- Drug Screen : 10-panel, must include opiates
- Titers (within last 12 months) :
- MMR
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B
- TB
- Minimum Experience :
- 2+ years in Behavioral Health/Psych
- Travel RN experience is required
