Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor Delivery Driver with a Box Truck in our Richmond, VA market for dedicated lanes. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes!
As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries consisting of auto parts on a multi-stop route in and around the Richmond market. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.
Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers: - Load freight from warehouse and deliver to designated stores
- Scanning in each carton is required at delivery.
- Operate a pallet jack to load/unload the freight.
- Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
- Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
- Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace? - Have your own working 24' - 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate.
- Meet insurance requirements - $1 million CGL, $1 million auto liability, $100,000 motor cargo
- Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
- Drivers must be 21 or older.
- Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA
