As a Transportation Aide , you'll play a key role in helping residents get to medical appointments, activities, and community outings while providing dignified care and assistance along the way.
What You'll Do as a Transportation Aide
Safely transport residents to medical appointments, activities, and events using facility vehicles
Assist residents in and out of vans, securing wheelchairs, and carrying packages or equipment
Escort residents into physician offices, ensuring paperwork is handled properly
Provide direct care needs when necessary, including transfer assistance and incontinence care
Respond to emergencies appropriately, including contacting EMS when required
Support evening and weekend events by driving for scheduled trips
Maintain vehicles in good condition and follow safety standards
What We're Looking For
Valid Pennsylvania driver's license in good standing (must be 23+ years old with at least 2 years of driving experience)
Safe and reliable driving record
Ability to lift, carry, and assist residents safely
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Sensitivity, patience, and compassion for seniors
Ability to follow schedules and adapt to changes on short notice
High school diploma or equivalent required
